Staff Spotlight: Tawaine Noah

Meet Tawaine Noah – part of our Wait Staff who is also a part of the local St. Louis music scene!

Do you remember the first time you visited Blueberry Hill?
I came in with some bandmates for a meeting/hangout and fell in love with the buffalo fries (duh!)

Favorite menu item? Western Wagyu Burger (Our 8 ounce Waygu beef patty topped with cheddar spread, onion ring and bacon-served with bbq sauce and buffalo fries)

Favorite drink?
Singapore Sling

Favorite Duck Room concert?
Brown Bird

Favorite piece of memorabilia?
I like all of the old sheet music!

Best celeb encounter at Blueberry Hill?
I served Stephen Higgins once—I think he’s best known as the announcer of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He was pretty chill but very kind!

Number of Tattoos?
I have four tattoos. My favorite is a West African symbol for leadership.

Favorite song to play on the jukebox here?
She Wants to Move by N.E.R.D.

Tell us something you might not know about you:
I currently play synth keys in The Free Years (other band members include Danny Hill, also a Blueberry Hill Wait Staff employee!). I used to write and sing in Union Tree Review.

I also once opened for Portugal The Man at the Pageant in the Delmar Loop!
